The drum-type grain cleaning machine is designed for preliminary, primary and secondary cleaning of agricultural crops of various contamination and with varying degrees of moisture. The drum cleaner consists of a drum with perforated sieves and an aspirator. The aspirator removes all small debris such as dust, husks and various impurities. Then the grain goes to the sieve. Usually the drum consists of several sieves with different mesh diameters. Depending on the stage of the technology for processing grain or seeds and adjusting the machine for the appropriate type of cleaning, cleaning from: • during preliminary cleaning - parts of straw, plant stems, stones, ears of corn, dust and other impurities. • during primary cleaning - the same impurities, as well as small, feeble, crushed along the grains of the main culture. • during secondary cleaning - all kinds of impurities separated by air flow and perforated sieves.
