Under the leadership of President & CEO Monty Boyd, we're enabling our customers to build a better world. The company has roots in two of the oldest Caterpillar dealerships in the country: Whayne Supply and Walker Machinery, founded in 1913 and 1950, respectively. In 2008, the Boyd family purchased Whayne Supply, then Walker Machinery in 2010. In 2020, we officially merged under one name: Boyd CAT. When the name changed, our company’s promise remained the same. We serve customers with expertise and integrity, always do things the right way, provide best-in-the-industry equipment, value-added services and innovative solutions, and we always seek ways to get better. The legacies and traditions of Whayne and Walker live on at Boyd, and our team continues to build on them.
