Prior to Marcel Equipment owning this unit, it was under a CAT maintenance & repair contract
All required servicing intervals & repairs were completed by servicing CAT dealer
This unit was completely inspected by Toromont CAT and had the below completed;
Strip machine for power washing
Perform a CAT TA1 inspection
Check fluid levels
Check oils for discolouration
Complete oil samples
Service engine
Complete performance pressure checks on engine, torque, transmission & hydraulic systems;
Engine high & low idle
Engine high & low idle oil pressure
Fuel pressure
Full stall boost
Full stall speed
Transmission pump pressure
Transmission lube pressure
Hoist relief pressure
Steering system pressures
Brake system cut-in/cut-out pressures
Change & cut open all filters to inspect for contaminates
Inspect magnetic plugs/screens & suction screens
Update all ECM software as required
Check for applicable service letters
Service emission system as required
Check front & rear brakes for wear
Check steering joints, A-frames & box pins
Based on the CAT Dealer Inspection, MEL completed the following repairs:
Resealed steering cylinders
Block heater replaced
Replaced center pin & bushings on the Y bracket
Replaced hose on powertrain filter
Replaced several powertrain hoses
Cleaned out heater box
Repaired fuel quick fill cover
Replaced lube pump suction hose & clamps
Clean breaker connections in battery box
Completed repairs to after treatment system
Replaced hydraulic tank bulk hose
Replaced def screen & cap
Replaced windshield washer pump
Replaced cab pressurizer fan motor
Repaired & serviced A/C system
Replaced 2 tie rod ends
Replaced torque rod bearings & pins
Completed all needed cosmetic & welding repairs
Box bed was inspected & needed repairs completed
All repairs have been completed, truck is work ready.
