Ecostar Hexact 4000 Screener

The Hexact 4000 is a modular, industrial disc screen that uses Ecostar’s patented Dynamic Disc Screening (DDS) technology. This makes it ideal for plants needing high-performance material separation with a compact footprint and low energy use. The “4000” refers to the approximate working length of the screening surface (about 4 metres). 🛠 Key Features 🔹 Dynamic Disc Screening (DDS) Technology Uses a series of hexagonal or octagonal disc shafts with a flat profile. Material moves in an up-and-down motion to improve separation and reduce clogging. Allows screening speed and cut-point (the size of material passing through) to be adjusted in real time. 🔹 Modular Design The screening unit consists of modular sections that can be combined to achieve the desired screening length and throughput. This modularity allows you to tailor the machine to site space and performance needs, and expand later if required. 🔹 Efficient and Low-Power Operation Typically powered by one or more 7.5 kW electric motors (depending on configuration). The efficient disc system enables lower overall power consumption compared to traditional screens. 🔹 Screening Capacity & Sizes Designs in this range (including the 4000) can process up to around 200 t/h of material, depending on material type and screen configuration. Typical screening aperture sizes range from 10 mm to 350 mm, giving flexibility for coarse or fine separation.
