This CAT 816K is an Ex Municipal Machine with Caron Contour/Traction Compaction Wheels, CAT Straight Landfill Blade, Finger Tip Shifting, and No Spin Front & Rear Differentials.
The following are repairs completed by the CAT Dealer prior to Marcel Equipment owning this CAT 816K Compactor;
At 1,199 hours, installed NEW turbo charger
At 1,690 hours, installed NEW a/c condenser
At 2,001 hours, installed NEW hydraulic oil cooler
At 2,410 hours, installed NEW NRS cooler
At 2,413 hours, installed NEW water pump
At 2,417 hours, installed NEW engine ECM
At 2,417 hours, installed NEW DPF
At 2,440 hours, installed NEW DEF controller
The following repairs were completed by Marcel Equipment;
Upon arrival at our yard, this CAT 816K was stripped for power washing
Completed full operational & visual inspections
Engine oil filter was cut open - clean
Transmission filter was cut open - clean
Hydraulic filter was cut open – clean
Magnets & suction screens checked - clean
Final drive oils were checked - levels good & oil clean
Axle oils were checked - levels good & oil clean
Engine was serviced
Transmission, hydraulic & axle oils were changed
The following pressures were taken to ensure within OEM spec;
Engine high/low RPM
Stall speed
Engine oil pressure - high/low
Fuel pressure - high/low
Engine boost
Transmission pump pressure
Transmission lube pressure
Torque converter inlet & outlet
Pilot pressure
Steering margin pressure
Steering cut-out pressure
Brake pressures
Accumulators
The following repairs were completed by Marcel Equipment;
Installed NEW batteries
Replaced a couple required hoses
Installed NEW axle breathers
Installed NEW engine belt
Installed NEW rear wiper motor
Repaired STIC steering assembly
Greased machine.
